Biography

Biography

Dr. Gabi Kaffka holds a MSc in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam and a PhD in the field of Entrepreneurship Studies from the University of Twente. In the past, Gabi has worked for the project HEInnovate (a joint project of the EC and OECD) in which she examined and reported on best practices in entrepreneurial teaching and learning in higher education in Ireland and the Netherlands. She also worked as a researcher for the Higher Education Authority (HEA) in Ireland and led a Dutch project on development of public-private learning communities in vocational and higher education. During the last years, she was project manager of the EU project ‘Evaluation of Entrepreneurship Education Programmes in Higher Education’ (resulting in the EPIC toolkit which can be found here), taught at Utrecht University and is country expert for the European Commission (DG EAC) on education in the Netherlands. At present, Gabi works as a postdoc researcher on the topic of adaptive performance/lifelong learning for the Alliance (a collaboration of Utrecht UMC, Utrecht University, Wageningen University and the Technical University Eindhoven.
